Bob Rosenblatt, SSW and Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor has eighteen years of professional experience in treating the disease of addiction. He is a full partner in ATM Counseling and still continues working at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute, both as a counselor in the Intensive Outpatient Program, and with people who are admitted inpatient for medically managed detoxification. Bob worked for several years as the clinical and program coordinator for the University of Utah Pain Management Center as well as serving as Chairman of the Board and Community outreach coordinator for The Haven, a Salt Lake residential treatment center. Bob is active in lobbying for reform in the Salt Lake County funding for substance abuse treatment, and has traveled the country networking with other professionals in the field, political groups and national health care organizations, advocating for education and treatment in the fight against this deadly disease. Along with his partners, Dr. Sean Ponce, and Tom McCullom LCSW, Bob describes ATM Counseling as the culmination of a twenty plus year dream to provide the best care and treatment available to those who suffer from the disease of addiction, as well as their families and loved ones.

Extensive business management experience and computer/IT experience, Certified Phlebotomist, Certified R.O.P.E.S. Facilitator, Certified SASSI Examiner.

Professional Experience:

University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute 1992-1995: Mental Health worker, ECT Coordinator, Social Service worker, Assistant Program Specialist Chemical Dependency Program. T.L.P. Coordinator (Computer Based Therapeutic Learning) Family therapy group facilitator.

University of Utah Pain Management Center 1995-2003. Program Coordinator Pain management center and administrative offices. Duties included webmaster inter/intranet design, implementation of database systems for clinic billing and administrative offices, design / implement / and maintain outcome measurement database systems for clinic, for clinic and offices during operations, monitor quality of care in clinic, monitor policy and procedure compliance and safety guidelines, facilitate patient therapeutic groups as needed, facilitate staff and patient education and training as needed or required, evaluate outcome measure results and make recommendations for standards change as needed, organized and implement “Grand Round” education series including video taping, editing and copying for distribution. Personnel management experience includes support job orientation and training, coordinate cross training and coverage, monitor staff and faculty in current job roles for policy and procedure compliance, ongoing evaluation of job descriptions and staff performance, support staff to best accomplish job goals as set forth in job descriptions, and make appropriate interventions on behalf of management or patients as needed, support and encourage continued education for all center personnel.

The Haven 2001-2005. Business Relations Manager, duties include HIPPA Compliance Officer, policy and procedure monitor, liaison to the board, WITS administrator and employee trainer, primary fundraiser including responsibility for all grant writing, community network representative, web designer and administrator, IT network infrastructure manager.
