Professional experience I began working in the field in May of 1989 at what was then the Western Institute of Neuropsychiatry. At that time, the institute was considered one of the premier detox and substance abuse treatment facilities anywhere. In the mid 1990’s the institute became part of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. I have continued to work for the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) and am currently on staff. Certifications UAADAC, Ethics Training Workshop, September 1995.
